Jewel Tones is a collection I is inspired by nostalgia and heritage. Focusing on accessories that I am familiar with are jewellery and bags. The jelwery shown below are peices my mother would have inside her jewellery box that I found both unique and delicate and I wanted to use this as an inspiration for this project. The theme was extravagant yet delicate.
I executed two diffrent samples for this project, a knitted macrame neckpiece inspired by the chunky necklaces and to represent the work Extravagant. The second circular knits in inspired by the dainty fragile beading on the jewellery represent the tern delicate, as well as visualising the circular knits as an idea to form a bag like accessory.
