For this project I have entered a competition with MacTaggart & Mickel, a Scottish property company. My work represents family and structure, as my yarn-threads are inspired from the housing developments the Mac & Mic company have been producing since the early 1920s. Creating a range of modern, traditional and contemporary tartan prints with a selected colour pallet chosen by the company, and using my complex yarn-threads and digital drawings to achieve this technique with knit.
